The Circle of Life.
This artwork clearly represents the circle of life; from death comes new life (the flowers), which nourishes another form of life (the birds), who will soon die to nourish another (the cats).
The symbiotic ways in which we interact with our surrounding ecosystem is another prevalent theme in Dan McCarthy’s work.
